Message and upon further examination, I am unsure if the ES bushing were to blame. The tension rod bracket was damaged an the tension rod itself was slightly bent, indicating a trama to that side of the suspension.

Fortunately when mine failed I was backing out of a parking space, and not on the road. On the highway, this type of failure could easily result in an accident. Since then, I have spent all my spare cash and a good deal of time updating and upgrading my suspension.

Please make sure your car is safe to drive.
